Soursop Fruit (Scientific name:Annona muricata)
Other Names:Guanabana, graviola, mullaatha

Soursop is a flowering, evergreen tree native to tropical regions of the world. 1. The nutrients present in soursop are amino acids, ascorbic acid, calcium, carbohydrates, iron, phosphorus, fibers, thiamine and riboflavin. It characteristically contains a good amount of dietary fiber (3 g per100 g) that helps prevent absorption of cholesterol in the gut.
